Family Resource Series
Family is at the heart of what we do here. We want to do everything we can to support and enrich your family life. The sessions we offer are designed to equip parents and encourage families toward healthy, fulfilling relationships.
The Family Resource Series is held on Tuesday evenings at Heart of the Shepherd. Each session starts with a family/group meal followed by a workshop or discussion group. Childcare is provided. Scroll down to learn more about the different sessions we are offering this year! Add a session to your cart to register your family or register in person in the CDC office. Are you tired of the constant teasing, tattling, and battling? We often struggle as parents to know how to address sibling conflict, like when to intervene in fights and how to treat our children in ways that are both unique and fair. In this session, we’re exploring practical strategies for your home and learning how to pave the way for long-term, enriching sibling relationships.
Starts April 30th
Do you ever feel like technology is taking over your home? How do you know how much is too much? How do we protect our kids? Technology has changed everything about our world, including family life.
In this session, we're digging into Andy Crouch's book, The Tech-Wise Family. Together, we will learn how to make choices about technology in our homes that go beyond screen-time limits.
