We are here as fellow followers of Jesus Christ to help you connect with Him. Please let us know how we can partner with you in your prayer life. Things to think about prior to filling out the form are: 1. Who it is for (include your relationship). 2. Do you want this keep confidential or can we share it with our congregation to include in their prayers? 3. Remember: Heaven is filled with answers to prayers that you haven't even prayed yet... If you have an immediate need and want to contact someone please call Pastor Grulke or one of the staff. Satan does not just attack us during working hours but at any time. We are also here for you anytime. As you pray please think of these things: An important question to start with regarding prayer is to know “What is a Prayer?” A prayer is simply a form of communication with God. Next we look at “What is Praying?" Since praying is simply ‘talking with God’, we follow what God tells us in His Word. And now we look at “What to Pray for?” God has told us what to pray for in His word.
I exhort, therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men; for kings and for all that are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. 1 Timothy 2:1,2
And then “When to Pray?”
Paul writes to the Ephesians "And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints."
Jesus teaches us how to pray in Matthew 6:10-14 Our Father, who art in heaven, Hallowed be thy Name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, On earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, As we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, But deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever and ever. Amen.
