Allow us to briefly share with you the purpose of our church's Prayer Ministry and why your participation in this ministry is vital. To be the spiritual blessing God fashioned and designed us to be; the Pastor, church leaders and people of our congregation need to be engaged in honest, sincere, Christian prayer. Those who believe in the power and blessing of prayer are asked to read over the following and we invite you to become part of this important ministry.

 

 

 

Purpose

 

1)

To fulfill God's desire for us and to grow in Christ through prayer.  

 

And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests.  With this in mind, be alert and always keep praying for all the saints - believers in Christ Jesus (Ephesians 6:18).

  
2)

To receive God's power and blessings.


For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened (Matthew 7:8).

  
3)

To have people praying with you, me and others and for you, me and others.


Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working (James 5:16).


 

Participation


Who and how many should or can be involved in our Prayer Ministry?

 

There is no limit to the number! The only requirement for membership in our Prayer Ministry is your compassion and care for others, shown through your willingness to devote some of your time to specifically pray for others.  The Prayer Team would love to have a large representation of families in our church as members of our Prayer Ministry.

 

Prayer links you, your family, your church, your loved ones and others to the most powerful source and force in the universe...to God. To the God who says: Pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you (1Thessalonians 5:17-18).

 

 

 
 		 

We invite those of you, willing to devote some of your time to specifically pray for others who request prayers, to fill out the Prayer Team Involvement Form.
