LCMS Views:  What is the Difference Between LCMS and ELCA?

 

The Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod has many areas of agreement with the Evangelical Lutheran Church of American but there are regrettably some areas we have no agreements.  This is explained in Resolution 3-0A adopted in 1998.  More information is available.
