My wife Lori and I have been members of Heart of the Shepherd since 2003 when we moved to this area.  I was born and raised in the Akron, Ohio area.  I have a Business Degree from Capital University (Columbus, O) and an MBA from Southern Illinois University (Edwardsville, IL).  My 40 yrs of manufacturing management has taken me from Akron to Southern Il in rubber and plastics, and then to Michigan in the automotive industry.  I am now retired and working smarter, not harder.  My religious background is Lutheran, Catholic, Methodist, and a return to Lutheran.  

Lori and I have been blessed in many ways since joining Heart of the Shepherd, especially since becoming members of church groups and activities.  We found that serving, not being served is much more rewarding to us and others.  You will normally see me ushering and serving as the pastor’s assistant at early services, but occasionally at 10:30 and Wednesday services.
