Intently LISTENING to Christ’s CALL…Actively REACHING Beyond Our Walls!

Digest these words.  Memorize them.  Live them.  These words will be our focus as we celebrate our church’s 9th Anniversary and enter into our tenth year as Christ’s church here at Heart of the Shepherd.  God’s Word continually calls us to connect others to Jesus, our Dear Friend who gave His life for us.  

One of our church’s ministry goals has been to amplify our influence in Livingston County by creatively and responsibly expanding God’s kingdom through church planting… intentionally planting the seed of God’s Word in community areas of greatest opportunity by a variety of methods and “serve and worship” mission efforts.

We see a number of specific opportunities to support this ministry goal emerging during the weekend of October 1-2.  We have intentionally committed to get involved in the Fowlerville Relay for Life event and we are excited to further our impact by coordinating our Church Has Left the Building community service projects with that event.  Participation on your part will help our church demonstrate that we truly are A church with a for you! as we seek to be a helping, giving, caring presence within Livingston County.

May the Holy Spirit equip and empower us for our vital Kingdom work of connecting others to Jesus, the Friend of sinners, as we Intently LISTEN to Christ’s CALL and Actively REACH Beyond Our Walls!  May it be said of us what was said of those believers in the early Christian church in Acts 4:31:
