We have a number of our families who have their loved ones serving in our military, and we regularly thank God for their bravery and pray for their protection and safe return.  Below is a free website that allows you to send a card to those brave men and women.  It only takes a minute to do that, so we encourage you to click on the site below that will take you there. http://www.letssaythanks.com/Home.aspx

Lord, hold our troops in your loving hands. Protect them as they
protect us. Bless them and their families for the selfless acts they
perform for us in our time of need. I ask this in the name of Jesus, our
Lord and Savior. Amen.

He asked his wife to send him dirt, fertilizer and some grass seeds so he can have the sweet aroma and feel the grass grow beneath his feet.  If you notice, he is even cutting the grass with a pair of a scissors.

Sometimes we are in such a hurry that we don't stop and think about the little things that we take for granted. Upon receiving this, please say a prayer for our soldiers that give (and give up) so unselfishly for us. ( I think we should also pray for their families left behind who are also unselfishly giving up not only their family member but in many cases their standard of living while they are away)
